Description
My first ever pixel art attempt. I'm a complete noob so I wouldn't be surprised if I messed some things up. It was kind of refreshing to do something different for a change. I may do some more at some point. c:Art (c) me

Wow, this is really good for your first time!
I've been pixiling for a year now and even I couldn't do something that awesome! Just a tip though, I would use more colors for the shading. And (for example) on the scarf, the outline to me looks black. What I would have done is take a darker shade of the darkest shade you have on your scarf and make it the outline color.

Ah, yes, I understand. I think skill in the basics of art like color theory and anatomy transfer well between painting/digital art/and things like pixel art. I think its just a few techniques are different.
As for the shading, I'm sure I could have done a better job, but after working on it for a couple days I got fed up and rushed towards the end. XP
