"You did turn him into a frog?" sounds awkward. "Did" is only used in a plain declarative sentence when the affirmation is emphasized, but here "frog" is emphasized. It should be "You turned him into a frog?".

I knew when I was reading the script it had something to do with Helena's background (that and the fact that she only spoke twice).

Yeah, in retrospect I could have made it clearer, but I didn't have too much room to flesh out the characters in six pages...I'd love to do more with them someday.
