This is cool, but the flash of white lines to "reset" it bothers my eyes a little bit...I feel it is too sudden or too rapid if you stare at it for too long. I honestly barely have enough time to notice the stats appearing before it resets. Maybe slow it down a bit? Or let it last a little longer before looping it?

And now Syron is ready to rumble. We just need to find a name for this game.
If you have an idea to develop a game just plan to do a kickstarter or something like that. I bet that there are a lot who're interested Dan.

one question: are the stats in the corner either just for extra features or is this like for a future/current game?
if it is a current/future game, what is/will it be called?

You know, your artstyle is ever-changing
pretty much an interesting development
is Syron keeping his lastest reference or are you working with this one? Syron the Fox (2014)

this had the same style as that, but the old outfit and the glove design i had in my portfolio (which isn't openly posted). People really seem to like his shirt design, so I'm keeping it but throwing in alot of the influence (headphones, swirlports, etc) from the brainstorm from last year.

This is absolutely incredible!!!
Love the whole style and motion of the thing!
The only thing I would say, is that for me personally, I feel like some of the information goes by quite quickly and would possibly benefit from it being slowed down a tad?
But thats just me, it is an awesome animation and such a cool idea!

i could introduce the info slower if need be, but the benefit to a loop like this is that its re-readable. xD

Animator is traininggg--
Probably a silly question, but I'm curious.
So do you draw everything on a separate layer, then export it onto AE or Flash-- then animate it, using the puppet tool, or bone tool??
cus-- it looks like it? but there seems there's more to it.
If you answer, that'd be great
have a nice day ; w ;

DanSyron In reply to Acruxic [2015-04-12 16:31:47 +0000 UTC]
depends on the style of animation i'm going for. In my big WIP project right now i hand animate alot of it frame by frame and sync it in AE for production, and alot of the other stuff is automations done in AE. For these, its AE automations and i split up some of the elements so i can control each one. This one is puppeting. I'm not familiar with a bone tool but i'm going to guess same basic principle.

Oh I see.
I've been messing around with the puppeteer in AE because I assumed it was "easier" than dealing with Flash. But thanks for sharing that!
So how long does it take you to finish a simple animation, something like this or anything else you animate?
