36" x 48" acrylic on panel. Getting a little more used to the acrylics
. I wanted to give the water in the picture a sort of life as if it could reach out and grab you, hope that came across. By the way each purchase of my girls come with a little story of the figure in the picture, I do not usually post them because I feel they should be personal to the collector. I feel that each image belongs to an individual, because each image has a personality and has feelings and like everyone else they are just searching for thier soul mate.

Awww emily thankyou!!! Colors are deffinately my thing. Yeh and oil affect I love how fast acrylics dry but I always want them to be as vivid as oils so I have really tried to do that. But now I paint primarily in oils a reason why my deviation submissions have been farther and farther apart, because now they take longer but I also feel like they are better.

Yeah, I've just recently started experimenting with oils in my color theory class...so sooner or later I'll be posting some oil paintings...who knows?

That's amazing! I was listening to a trance/rave web radio station and this really beautiful song was on when I saw this. Just stared at it for the rest of the song enjoying the combined effect with this piece. Nice deviation!

Why thankyou!!!!! Yes I did I got an Art degree from University of Las Vegas and didnt really learn much as I wasnt a favorite, I only got a degree in art not fine art as they said I am not an academic artist, oh well, what do you do.

For acrylics, they look a lot like watercolours ^^ I like the soft feel that gives the piece. It's also very dynamic, and there's some great detail in there ^^ Good job! XD

Quite lovely indeed. I love the translucency and, as you hoped to achieve, abundance of life in the water, indeed in everything.
Very dream-like in a sense, where everything is in motion, swaying and ever-changing.
I love how everything feels orchestrated, a dance telepathically choreographed.
And of course the colours are purely sensational :)

It's strange right before I saw this I was thinking about if I had the ability to float. This picture gave me this indescribably euphoric feeling. I love this picture and I would buy it if I had a job and had money. It's beautiful and full of life. Perhaps my favorite picture I've seen on deviantart thus far. ^_^ The colors are beautiful, the girl is beautiful and not to mention I have a big love for Koi fish. Just beautiful.

This is really nice! I really like the colors used and how they look together. I also like the movement of the water and how ir rises around her legs. The fish and flowers are pretty and her outfit + the umbrella is really cute!
