The fiend raises his sword to strike down at the stricken knight, hanging from the edge of the narrow bridge. Little cascades of sand and rubble crumble from the slender formation of rock that links the two sides of the mighty, subterranean ravine, and tumble down and down through the empty blackness. The young woman can't bear to look.

I love this series so much,
The only thing about this picture is that she looks really close to him, like she could reach out and grab him.

Now I'm quite torn here. Any knight who is all good guy like this one here seems to be has little to appeal to my darker side (do I have another one?

I'm a gemini, not that half of me believes in astrology, but the duality thing seems to ring true. Like Byron, I've often felt myself to be split down the middle spiritually speaking, my good side is very honourable and decent, my dark side is stygian, potentially wicked and depraved as hell. I am balanced inertly but precariously in the middle, due to the equal and opposite forces pulling from both sides. Sometimes I sway one way or the other. This noble knight comes, clearly, from my light side (and perhaps represents it, to come to think of it), but it remains to be seen which will ultimately gain the upper hand. He's certainly in a bit of a pickle, presently, as can be seen.

Pickles like this are the stuff heroics are made of, and such appears to be true, having glimpsed the next page of "Expectant." And "depraved as hell" has a nice ring to it, my friend. Any tickets still available on that train...?

She should have a name, shouldn't she? Although Asterith will be furious to hear this other woman referred to as Odo's g/f. There again this could be happening in a parallel universe to 'Haven'. As for the female's name, I thought about Krysta.
