I was taking requests as a way to get myself loosened up. (I have a huge 'Inception' project I am working on.)
I really, REALLY got carried away with this one. Kinda went all art nouveau.
Hopefully I got across how aloof/disdainful/arrogant he is. (We love him for it though!) John is not happy that Sherlock is smoking. He’s probably making a ‘seriously? and a nicotine patch?’ face at Sherlock.

Sherlock's expression very much captures the essence of "looking down on the puny mortals." And I love the drape and folds of his housecoat - it emphasizes his pose of almost feline relaxation. Beautiful.

I adore how you managed to make your characters seem so... 3d. like how the shirt folds over his chest and the highlights on his face. I can never seem to get such things right, my stuff always looks so flat compared to yours : P
