Oh my god. I don't know why this escalated to this point.Started as a livejournal request for 'John Watson in the bath and Sherlock Holmes on his laptop nearby'...apparently my brain wanted him REALLY nearby.
I can't even figure out if this is Slash or not. It's totally not Gen though? IDK GUYS. I'M BEMUSED BY MY OWN CREATION.
Anyways, hope you like it.

You know what... I was going to not give my opinion... but damn it I need to...
To me it seems like it could be canon for the sheer non-sexual-based mind that Sherlock possesses...
I actually could imagine John in the bath on his own, minding his own business, then Sherlock stomps in, slings his clothes off and saying:
"Right, budge up, John, you're always saying that I need to bathe more and Mrs Hudson says I've been smelling a little ripe today, so I might as well save you the bother of filling a new bath..."
"Bloody hell, Sherlock! I didn't mean when I'm in it! Do you realise how this... oh I give up..." (tries to avoid even glancing at him)
"Yes... you normal people tend to do that, don't you..."
"...Well couldn't you have used your laptop, then come in once I'd finished..."
"Not when there may be a vital case occurring in the next few seconds, multi-tasking is the key to perfect time management..."
Is that non-slashy enough to be canon? (though I do very much ship those two to death

seeing that the picture fits like a glove, and the title is that same, i think it`s inspired from this fanfic. it`s a one-shot about sherlock joining john in the tub to save water
