slowly the clouds gathered,
as i walked through fields of thorns,
barefoot, my blood shed,
the storm roared, as i walked deeper into the darkness,
traveled through the tunnels of nightmares child,
stumbling past trees of death,
following the demon that didn't want to drown,
creeping along the narrow banks of my suicide,
stopped to take a drink, saw my reflection,
my distorted figure staring back at me,
listening to the demons cackle in my face,
one whispered, you look so lost,
and i turned back to the stream of my blood,
i had finally felt alone,
knew what it felt like to be fallen,
it made me realize, i've been wandering all my life,
through fields of thorns, past trees of death, always following the demons that didn't want to drown, i know what called my suicide, i know now, and i still feel so desperately abandoned,
caged is my wonderland
