the words society stuffs in our mouths,we feed off their every thought,
as if our lives depended on their lies,
brainwashed,
we follow,
without questions, without consideration,
the weak string paths behind the rabbits of our time,
so lost,
they lead us into darkness,
on strings so thin we lay our lives,
we put our trust in sugarcoated tar,
we learn from our mistakes, but it's too late as we breathe in blood soaked words of betrayal,
and choke on the ferment promises mislaid
