Chucking caution to the wind,
Nothing seems like it matters,
Nothing seems important,
And everything falls apart,
Because the value of a life is wasted,
On drugs,
Or in other ways of pollution,
Time seems to run like water from a faucet,
Full blast,
And no one cares,
They just watch it flow through the drain,
Wasting the beats of our hearts,
Crumbling our very existence with the hate inside,
Mutilating our minds,
With these feelings of self doubt,
We walk through this life,
Like we have time to waste,
What we donβt realize,
Is that what is left is nothing but emptiness
