Do you ever dare to dream of a better place?

I've been sick since yesterday and so I basically slept for 14+ hours and drew this.

I've been trying to practice my digital painting a lot and tried to go for a more traditional anime screencap kinda feel. I know the composition of this piece is somewhat flawed but. . .oh well lol that's what I get for starting a picture when my head is all stuffed up.

The other thing I've been trying to practice is perspective. This is probably one of the first pieces I've ever done actually bothering to do a character with a slight perspective. Usually I just draw from a flat/eye level view.

Background is entirely digital, I drew the guy on paper, scanned him in and colored him digitally.
