Description
So this was done for one of my class assignments in which we had to pick any topic that\'s currently relevant and excecute it in a style that has an indian influence to it. The idea originally was to excecute it in an indian miniature art format... but that was WAY too much work. Especially since the deadline was a week away. XDSo The topic I picked was Originally Broadway... but I 'broadened' it to Theatre as I very desperately wanted to do a piece on swan lake. (I LOVED Black Swan. Sue me.)
So Here is the second piece in my series...
The Wizard of Oz.
Now mind you I haven't included all of the characters as I didn't want to overcrowd the frame So don't be mad.
And about the color... I tried a MILLION different ways to color it... but nothing did justice to the line work (which I might add, I'm rather quite proud of )
P.S. I wanted to include the flying monkeys in this... but due to time restrictions i had to leave them out for now. I'll edit this piece again at a later time... but for now this is it
As always Criticism is always welcome
Oh and if anyone has any suggestions as to which other theatrical shows I can use in this series... please do let me know
Others in the series include -
The Phantom of the Opera - [link]
Swan Lake - [link]

this is really a cool series. I love the adaptation to Indian culture and the lineart is just gorgeous, flowing, and dynamic.
