I'm currently using it on my 64-bit Win 7 , it looks great

I hope one day you will make a 64-bit version of the explorer.exe

How can I eliminate the effect of "embroidery", and return the result
default aero, for transparency?

Thanks

Deviantnoob In reply to Simply-The-Frankie [2010-02-02 19:51:45 +0000 UTC]

err... well, to say the truth, that what you call "embroidery" its the main feature of this VS, I mean, its the "soul" of this VS but... if you really want to get rid of that effect you could try to res-edit the .msstyle file.
Good Luck!

Hey there are a couple of resources in the start menu for the basic theme that you have changed by accident i think: [link]

If you could change them back to the default or if your bored skin the whole start menu that would be awesome as thats the only thing i dont like about this theme (the only reason i see it is when blu rays play they disable aero so if i go onto the start menu i get that

Thanks!

I wish to have some spare time to update this VS but I'm pretty busy right now.
Yup, it doesnt looks nice, but unfortunately this VS was created/intended to be used exclusively with Aero effects on, in other hand, as you said, it only happens when playing BD movies so, seems you're not gonna be using that panel too much, aren't you?
Thanks for your support.

Excuse me, but how do I change the shell32.dll? I've searched all over the net, and there's nothing concrete or that explains all the procedure, It would be great to have some help.

Thanks in advance

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Deviantnoob In reply to IvanTheLoneWolf [2009-12-20 16:52:22 +0000 UTC]

1st. You have to be logged as Admin.
2nd. Find out some take ownership/control reg file for 7
3rd. Edit permissions levels (total-limited).
4th. Restart.

Alternatively you could take a look at this: [link]

advise: Dont mess with OS files unless you know how to.

IvanTheLoneWolf In reply to Deviantnoob [2009-12-25 05:44:16 +0000 UTC]

Deviantnoob In reply to IvanTheLoneWolf [2009-12-25 19:57:07 +0000 UTC]

Just associate the desired icon to the shortcut and then place it in Taskbar.

I'm using this theme. I love it but could you please make one that doesn't say "Programas" and "Volver" in the start menu? That's the only thing that's bugging me, I want that to be in english.

If you could I would be very gratefull. Or if there's some way to change it could someone please tell me?
