Description
Yes its a little different from the usual work I do. There is no colour, and its a fantasy piece. Just a couple hours of rough pencil work, with a little pen here and there. A random image that just popped in my head. Didn't bother with any pre or post scan smoothening, just wanted to leave the graphite textures visible.Art © John M. Askew 2008

Stunning shading in the rose, it's almost as if it's poking out of the paper. Very wonderful and caring shading. It produced such and soft 3-dimensional feel. It's amazing how tenderly smooth the subjects in your drawings are. I always feel like I'm being pulled into your dreamland with your astounding methods of shading. Excellent work!

Different from your usual stuff but I like it. The Rose is quality, not to sure about the face on the right but the middle one works really well. the shadows on the lower part are a good touch
