Yea I'm the same, but I realised the best format for Band Commissions are Digital, after doing various styles the abstract ones seem the best, so I'm going to continue with it.

I guess it depends on what sort of music the band plays.
I personally, really like all the old rock/heavy mettal record sleeves with skulls and flames all over them. Don't care much for the music, but the record sleeves are cool. ^_^

Glad you like it. 
I'l have to get back to you on the brushes. Digital isn't my specialist, I used what was already on my computer, something I downloaded years ago.
Most of what I used though comes standard with any Photo Shop and Paint software. I just combined anything I got my hands on. A lot of smoothening, Bluring and Smudging was applied in layers.
