Description Regardless of what look you like in an operating system Linux is capable of it all. Here are some screenshots of ubuntu themed to look and work like Windows 7.

Gnomenu was used to create the 'Start Menu'

Dockbarx for the new windows 7 'Super Taskbar'

Win2-7 theme GTK theme was used

'Who needs windows 7?' beryl theme was used for the aeor
windows borders

Windows 7 Indigestion wallpaper was used

Dockbarx theme was Shinybar 1.3

Gnomenu theme was Win7 by Erasmo Marin

Screenlets was used to replace the 'Windows Gadgets@

lol added these all as preferences no for one of my desktop environment's as well as having another one which is gnome with Cairo dock so I can switch between using Unity, a Mac-like desktop and this lol.

I think the best thing about it is its freedom , you can do with it what you want modify it to work in whatever way suits you, add or remove any piece of software and of course download, install and distribute it freely.

I installed Linux because my aero stopped working on Win 7. Linux is a lot better.
