I had a very relaxing day in the park yesterday with a group of my favourite people. We sat by a lovely old tree by the lake in Bushey Park and had a picnic. We watched the deer roaming around, equally as relaxed as us in the lovely summer sunshine (yes it is April but felt like mid August) Fish were jumping in the lake, birds were cooing away. The world felt just right.I then came home and this is what came out. The tranquil spirits of nature seem to massage the soul in the most inspiring ways!

Ouh, really? Or are you being funny? I'm a tree hugger at heart. More radical in my younger years, but definitely what I term "crunchy," as in granola, as in hippy....you know, animal and nature minded, anti-vivisectionist and all that...

I'm not an activist or anything. I've never chained myself to a tree out of protest! I just love nature and being surrounded by nature, so yes, in the literal sense I like to hug trees every now and then!
