Description
So, first series after my brake. A jumping spider. Sigma 70-300 Apo DG Macro with reversed ricoh 50/2. This time another species but very simillar to the previousMAXIMAL MAGNIFICTION - you can see me in his eyes

100-300 would be good for bird photos - I'm using 70-300 for this purpose... About advertising that lens is macro - it's a bull shit

i'll have to give it a try.... since i got my new pentax i havent been able to get any decent macros. i tried on (amusingly enough) a jumping spider, though not the same sub-species as the one here.... but yeh, it just totally refused to focus (manually too) & just ultimately didnt work at all.
Best i've had to date was just a close up of a huntsman taken with my 50mm f/1.4... which has a manual appeture ring, so i'll have to try your suggestion
only issue is the diametre difference on the lenses.... here's hoping!

thanks - anyway the IQ is rather bad... this is almost full frame, no crop. So this means that resolution of the lens set is very low. BUt this is REALLY extreme macro.
