So Steppy asked me to make a tutorial on how I draw wings. So this is it. If it helps, I'm happy, if it doesn't then I am very sorry, and will try better to clarify what I mean.I learn by looking at images, so that is how this tutorial is set up. A step by step guide at how to look at a wing, piece by piece. I hope it helps you with your wing endeavors.
Ps. Find a picture of an actual wing, and use that for reference. It will help quite a bit.

do you know of any method to make the wings moveable? like to move into a large wingspan and then let it fold up so it'd be easier to walk around in the hallways of cosplay..? I'm having trouble figuring that part out

It helped greatly, can't think if the image is in my gallery of my first try, but I know the new one of Raven in my gallery was thinking back to what I had to do - the one with the really big wings? If you are unsure which one I mean, tell me lol.

i like the way you draw the long feathers at the bottom of the wing, it looks great, thanks for the help, trying to draw a cover for my book and i fail at wings so im trying to learn a few tips from different tuts and mix them together, so the bottom feathers i might try to do

This is just a basic form. In the description, I mentioned getting a reference. You can use this for any wing, but for styles, get a reference photo and play around.
