Well, it really depends on the crowd. I wouldn't be opposed to going to a bar, but I would personally rather do so with a smaller, older crowd. This was a larger, more diverse (age-wise) group, so Cranium was just fine.

Cranium is pretty much a hybrid of Trivial Pursuit, Pictionary, Charades, Name That Tune, a number of other party games, and other stuff, all thrown in together. There's four groups of tasks - trivia, creativity (drawing or molding from clay), word puzzles, and performance - and you'll need to complete at least one of each to win the game. So, it's a nice balance between all that.
