MUA and filming: ~lucyhotchin
As with most of my shoots with *TeamHyphenPants , the mode of working was very theatrical - we gave our friend ~lucyhotchin (who also did hair and MUA) a video camera to film the situation (I'll get in touch with Simon, he's got the video somewhere...), gave the actors a simple brief (*Halohid was meeting ~simoneales , her ex, in a tunnel, where he was to return some of her things. An argument broke out, he stabs her).
It was amazing. The actors improvved for about twenty minutes, fake blood ended up everywhere, a passerby called security and we were told off for not warning them that a girl would be screaming hysterically while being stabbed underneath the university...all in a day's work!

This reminds me heaps of the rape scene from Irreversible. Unnerving stuff. I'm not sure if I should say you should see it, it's pretty disturbing, but at the same time interesting.

This is really cool, the storyboard style layout works well, and so does the dramatic black and white 'film noir' look. the last frame to me looks like the girl (not sure if that is you) is a little too comfortable in her dead pose.. (i indeed she is dead). the third last frame is brilliant.

I looooove the first two shots and the whole top line just does it for me. Total noir. You can even hear them speaking in halted English accents.

Halohid's acting voice generally tends to be a halted English accent, so it's likely she was doing one here! (I can't really remember...I need that video).

I have other accents too! My monologues come in all different kinds of voices. I'm actually planning to buy a little tape recorder at some point so I can record all the monologues I improvise and then promptly forget.
But I actually remember that me voice came out quite ordinary for this and I was a bit confused and disappointed. I don't really have a lot of control how my accent comes out. It just happens. This would be a problem if I were, say, an actor.
