That's neat you got a picture. I was there in that exact room just three months ago. They were yelling at everyone who had a camera. I wasn't able to get a shot.

that's surprising - i was there 6 months ago, and they had no problems with us taking pictures. though - it was sunny, so nobody needed to use a flash.
maybe they got a new curator, and decided photographs would be damaging to the old books. or maybe it depends on the tour guide or something.

we were very lucky to get the tour at the time of day when the sun shined through the roof into the building. its dark in there most of the day.
