USS Sirius, NCC-93284.I won't claim to have ever been a fan of the Defiant class, and would have preferred something more Saber-esque. The Valiant class at least broadens the silhouette gives it a few semi-sweeping lines.
I at least think they made the right choice in moving away from the original option of the Nova class for the Defiant.
The Valiant class is a 25th Century redesign of the original Defiant class:
