I like Samus, really, I just couldn't resist this idea when it came to me. The Master Sword's ability to deflect energy sometimes seems silly and, well, it would catch her off guard. Shame you can't do it in Smash Brothers.No background to this, so it looks kinda funky.

true but samus armor can take it the conter! plus samus is more smart then link! if see him set back her charge shot , she will dodge it and will attack link to a other way! will easy for her to grap link and break his arm! link he not protect to grap by samus! with agility and strenght she got with her , link need very careful, if he dont be careful, this will goin to hurt! yes link will not get hurt easy but link a make more mistake samus a do!

Would've been even funnier if you drew Link using an empty bottle instead of the Master Sword. Empty bottles repel magic attacks; 'tis true! Heh heh.

I can always tell when excitement for a new Smash Brothers is spiking because people find this old picture again. It's kind of amusing.

Yah, the Master Sword is enchanted to repel evil. So, while it may to be able to repel Samu's charge beam, not that it works the same way in metroid games as in smash bros, it would be able to reflect the attacks of gannondorf or someone similar

I Smash Bros Link can't deflect it, but I'm pretty sure that if timed right, he can stop Samus' charge shot by swinging his sword at it right before it would hit.
