Overall, I love this photo and the concept.
It's a very sick and twisted outlook on dentists and it works. It isn't cheesy and looks convincing.
My only dislikes are his hair and lack of blood. I think if his hair was a solid color, it would look better and would bring it all together and if you had more blood on his hands and around his mouth area, it would look more terrorifying.
My favorite things about this pictures are his glove with the dentist equipment sticking out of it, his eyes, and the drill. The equipment and the glove together is a brilliant idea and the look in his eyes is enticing but scary at the sametime and the drill is a wonderful idea for the concept and it adds to the overall feel of the photo.
You did a very good job on this and it turned out beautifully.

i love what you have done with this. it's very Little Shop of Horrors, the dentist meets Freddy Kruger. it is very obvious that you had an idea and you ran with it. the tools coming out of his fingers is a great idea and your models eyes say more then the blood soaked jacket ever could. the eyebrows are just one of those small details that really add to your character as well. i remember about a year ago, i went to a Zombie Con. were i got to meet a man who had a very similar idea, but with further inspection, i can really see your originality and how well you put it together. i really like that he is younger. in my mind, a evil doctor is old, but i like to see a younger look too. i think it adds more to your all around idea than an older man ever could. if i had to say one thing though; i would have like to have seen more done with the other hand. the drill is a bit cliche and it just fells like more could have been done. over all, your design is very well put together and i look forward to seeing more.

Overall I love this picture. It is spooky in a way that draws you in! Especially his eyes, and I am not sure if you meant this but the outstretched arm almost leads the viewers eyes up to your subjects.
The choice on where the blood spatter is interesting. I am drawn to the drips on the subjects right shoulder. It causes me to wonder what was he doing/ what vessel did he hit. If you meant is just for impact well done. There is also the different shades on the left side that makes me question the realness of the blood, same with on the mask. Also the color of it makes it seem old. I'm not sure if this was a look you were going for in order to make it seem like your subject purposefully bloodies his victims a lot or no. If it was meant to be a recent post murder shot I suggest a lighter tone of red and no different shades.
The tools protruding from the subjects hand is nice. It really draws one into the photo. It reminds me of a dentist Freddy Cruger.

ok, i'm never going to the dentist again! This is awesome! i love how you used the blood on the lab coat and the mask, that was cool. i really like the hair too, Messy and tangled like most possesed dentists, not that i know any! the drill was awesome cuz imagining that in my tooth would be scary! i also love the dental instruments on his fingers. The pose is good too it really does look like he's saying "need a filling?" in that situation, most would say "NO!" i love love LOVE this! i'm scared of the dentist now!

A horrific, creepy but fantastic shot of a dentist who I don't think anyone would want to have a filling from!
This is defiantly one scary photo, the blood covered clothes, the maniac eyes and that huge drill he's holding.. you can tell he's not someone to stop and chat with.
I think in order to improve this photo, it would be nice to see a different background except for the just white. Maybe a dark background that could be blurred to make sure the attention is still drawn to him.
but, this is a well deserved DD! Well done!

I really like this. I'm no photography expert, but I do love the composition, but the gesture could be improved somewhat by maybe hunching over a bit and reaching your left hand further out in front of you.The bloodstains are a really nice touch and convincingly done. The dentist tools on the tips of your fingers and the fact that your holding a drill makes it look like the procedure will be gritty and messy, done by a psychopath lol. Also, I do think that the image could've been darker; as in a darker colored background or filter. With all these cool elements to it, it seems to be dulled by the bright, white background. Again, good job!

Hey, now listen. I liked the position of the weird dentist and everything. Vision : good. Especially liked the blood dripping down his coat, I mean, thats really creepy. Originality : very original bro! Personally, I have already seen some of these type of pictures, but this one was kind of cooler and scarier. I dont know how you actually make these pictures. I mean, I dont know if its real or if you changed it on your computer, but thats a completely different story. Technique: hey, listen. I dont want to be mean or something, but really, you should have put a warning on it, mostly because if a punk in the age below 10 sees this picture, they`ll freak out, man!
Impact: well, as soon as I`ve seen this, it looked cool. Man, you`re good! Perfect!

The rules do not dictate what requires a filter, they say something is either allowed or not allowed. Applying a filter is left to the discretion of the artist.
