thats awesome, but my tablet doesnt have pen pressure, well its supposed to but i dont know how to set it to it, could you help me?

Try that =3 Usually works to get pen-pressure. Otherwise re-install your tablet and try this again

There's one simple thing i don't get:
you sketch and outline with the mouse??
How do you do the outlining? With pencil tool?

What do you mean 'delete'? Do you mean de-select? Just press ctrl+d or apple+d (if you are on a mac).

how did you get the picture so that you could color it without going over the lines, and i don't seem to have a magic wand. does it matter if my current photoshop is just a free trial or should i be able to do these things regardless?

Well you can lock the layer by clicking the little checkered square in the layer menu.
I don't know why you don't have a magic wand, have you checked all the right click options on the toolbar? Otherwise, I have no idea why you dont have a magic wand, sorry :S Do you have something like Photoshop Elements? Maybe it's different from the normal photoshops. I don't have any of the plugins, sorry

very nice tutorial, its just what i needed since im just starting out, but im still having trouble with the start of it, when i open a file with my scanned sketch in it the darn thing autimatically makes it the backround and won't let me change it, how do i get it to stop doing that?

how do you select more things with the wand tool? :S ive got the whole outline but i need to select the mouth too :S

Press Shift when you want to select another thing, and again if you want to select even more etc etc
