i know but you can also buy a tablet which is also alot but a smaller one is only 100 - 150 $
and th Wacom Graphire ones come with photoshop elements and that works weelll. then ist cheaper..

your first tutorial on the lineart made great snese and so dose this one
but when i do the magic wand thing it dosent work that well, can you explain it again please?

Make sure you use the magic wand tool on the OUTLINE later 
Go to the layer with the colour and press backspace or delete and voila now yopu have your layer coloured

I just cant draw dogs..well put together
i can draw the different parts like the tail, legs or head but not together Oo;;;

When I use the magic wand, it selects the whole color, not just whats outside the lines..?

You should use the Magic wand on the outline layer ^_^;;

I've seen this tutorial a few times and compared it with my own Photoshop habits and found a lot of things in this tutorial to be a lot more... productive? XD; Anyways, this was most helpful. Though I think your talent for making such clean lines in PS is insane. *can't make smooth free-hand lineart for crap*

oooh, Thats a great idea on how to block out the colors. The pic I'm working on currently it took me half an hour just to block out the main color. Doing it this way would have saved me tons of time. I'll try to remember it in the future

i was hoping this was more about outlining cause i cant do that straight. But its good

to get straight outlines with a tablet takes some practice, but it really helps to zoom in when outlining
