Well, except for Blaze's dad having a fishing pole like Big. Since he is part of the New Chaotix(which happened to be formed by Rouge), it confirms that Big is Blaze's dad. His motives might have changed over the years(or they are still lying dormant within), but we now see he truly is Big after many years after Sonic's death.

Mr. Cat is a distant descendant of Big, and Blaze is Mr. Cat's daughter. I suppose fishing is a family tradition.
