There are way too many comments worth making that would do this spread justice. I guess first of all I expected those three to do something, but nowhere near this level of coolness. Feels a little like that Spykids discovery: Wow. My parents aren't all that normal.
I love the way Mr. Cat reaches back and pulls out a fishing pole that was conveniently hiding back there. Can't tell what that orange screen says in the second panel because it's backwards and pretty small, but it's pretty funny when Silver's father shoves him back a step or two. I assume he's going to hop into the Omega2.0 back there when we get to the next page. It sure looks like his mom inherited a little bit of that werehog blood, though.
I was under the impression most of the battle would be centered around Sonic, Silver and Vennie, but I guess they'll be taking a backseat for a while unless things get a bit too hairy or if they're stupid enough to attract attention.

This is AWESOME! The Chaotix successors are a robot user, a werehog and a fishing rod/flail user; you can't get much more impressive than that. I hope they can free Shadow.

Wow. You know, after sonic 06 you would never think silver would be this kick ass.

It's sad that Sonic 06 turned out the way it did.Β From what I researched of Silver's character in terms of gameplay, he sounded like something that'd be super fun to play as.Β Being able to fly as fast as Shadow or Sonic, use the telekinesis powers on anything and everything, even bullets that fly at you and be able to throw them back, and imagine the super attack that could've been in store for him.Β If the game wasn't as rushed as it was and Sonic team didn't split up to make Sonic and the Secret Rings, then we'd have a decent game.Β Such is life.Β

...if there were some ruins.. but then again chip GAVE sonic his ring.. but even that shouldnt have dark gaia's energy inside.. would it? Β i know both light and dark gaia are one of the same kinda like a coin but.. it's quite possible there was a leakage somewhere and they stored it inside chip's ring after finding it after sonic died?

Well, Sonic's soul is tied to the chaos emeralds, right? And after the first one was put in Metal, the second didn't show up until Silver was literally about to grab one of the emeralds (and was about to die). So I'm thinking there are probably more like seven Sonics floating around in Emeralds, and I don't think Sonic is even aware of it.Β

Okay, Silver's mom is a werehog, his Dad is a mechanical genius with a killer robot, his boss apparently has a giant mace-and-chain fishing pole that is glowing, and they are fighting an old Metal Sonic that is powered by a part of Sonic's soul or something, Shadow being controlled by evil forces to turn on his friends, again, and the ghost of Scourge who is trying to kill everyone, again, and this battle is being fought in the basement of some relative of Silver's creepy house that happens to be the HQ of the new Chaotix, and so I'm pretty sure Silver is having another mental breakdown...again.
Did I miss anything? XD

That's pretty much it, yeah! There was no relative of Silver's though, his parents were lying about that-- it's just the New Chaotix's HQ. And don't forget the Blaze and Vennie's body are lying on gurneys nearby!
