[RENDEZ-VOUS? WITH THE MAD MATRYOSHKA]Sorry I've been only posting fan arts lately; it's a nice break away from the stressful contest entries. Fan arts for me is close to operating a fax machine compared to programming your own OS on a customized computer, that is original art. This was more of a doodle than anything else and I haven't done flat coloring piece since Bloody Sunflower.
Anyway this song has been playing in the BG for, in all seriousness, HOURS (iTunes count is 50 but i listened to it countless times on niconico already so I'd say WAY more). It's been a while since I found a vocaloid song I like this much but really; the lyrics, tempo, claps, catchiness... everything is there in one big awesome! I was surprised that my work was attractive enough to be even traced and I HAVE to admit I cant stop my self from feeling flattered in a weird and distorted way... I still think tracing is wrong BUT to each its own and since it's been credited I'm letting this one go. I've traced some photographs and comic pages when I was younger and wanting to become a better artist so I fully understand why people do so. I just hope this person becomes more confident enough with their drawing skills in the future and venture in to the wonderful world of creating...

Ooh, love the composition and the acidic colors. The graphic with the flat colors and the simplified cities in the background are a nice touch. 8D The expressions and clothes have a sort of Gorillaz spunk to it~
Now on a personal observation, I think there'd be a little more diagonal flow and color symmetry in the picture if Miku's glove was the same color as Gumi's sweatshirt. :'D
