Description When one collects corpses for necromancy and experimentation, you tend to wind up with a lot of spare parts. If you scour the battlefields for the dead, you often find plenty of arms, legs and chunks that aren't really connected to anything. Diving into ancient graveyards can yield the same results, as carcasses rot and crumble apart. For Ver'Rahl, his efforts have created an impressive amount of parts and pieces, all of which needed a use. Through his warped magic and twisted mind, he found a way to make something of these extra pieces. A warrior of blades and spines, one that could shred opponents with ease. An amalgamated monstrosity of hideous and ingenious design. A simple spin on its spiked leg could turn it into an eviscerating tornado, allowing it to carve through legions in a feverish dance. Perhaps this abomination would at last be the beast to fell those wretched Knights and add their corpses to Ver'Rahl's rotted halls.

Though the wretched Urchin is a powerful beast, it still seemed like a waste to have all these spare parts go into a single monstrosity. Surely there is a better use for them....

-------------------------------------

Decided to breaking up my posting of the demonic band members with some other stuff. Posting one member after another felt like it would make it seem repetitive, so time to toss in some other stuff! Here is a monster design that I have always wanted to do for a long time. I did a super old drawing of an Urchin, but I really didn't have the stuff to pull it off. But after some improvement, I finally was able to draw this sucker up!

I love this! The idea of a creature made of an array of spare parts is very clever 😁

Thanks, I figured that someone who collects corpses for their work would end up with a bunch of odd pieces! And one might as well put them to good use!

I am already seeing it spinning so fast it starts falling apart with arms and spikes flying everywhere and Ver'Rahl's army would get a good part of them.

That would probably happen after it took a great bit of battle damage. Go in for one final attack and just wind up ripping itself apart in a shower of shrapnel.

Let's take into consideration that its parts are already battle worn.

And held together by spit, meat slurry and a dash of necrotic energy!

i find the hand that is holding the sword oddly hilarious. it's the only limb that doesn't end in spikes and kind of feels like it's a bit of an outcast that wants to fit in, and thus forgets to focus on its strengths instead of its weaknesses and the parts that make him an outcast.

i went WAY too deep into that.

Or it could be a limb that originally came from some warrior that recalls echoes of its past life. It remembers wielding a blade of some sort, and can't help put continue doing so.

a part of a bigger whole desperately trying to cling on to its lost humanity, by performing an action its original owner performed regularly. that's what came up in me after reading your reply. don't really know if it makes sense, though.
pretty dark, as expected.

I mean that is pretty much what some people believe ghosts are, so why not severed limbs?
