If that happened to me I think I would be very mad.

Oh, I feel this pain. Every time I edit. Every. Time. You know what is evil? Apple programs. I think they're worse than Adobe. D:

Ouchhh. That makes me really hate Adobe products. Even though PS CS6 now has auto-save thing... it's still far far away from being good. When PS crashes for no reason it recovers the file you were working on...but the problem is that it only does that in 1 out of 1000000 cases and that's really annoying =//

PS is actually the most stable program I own in the Adobe lineup. Actually I've never had much issue with Premiere. Those two are fine. Flash is the MAIN offender. It has egregious bugs that make all the nifty new tools Adobe tacked on unsuable. The broken bone tool actually DESTROYED months of my work when the pivot points all decided to break, for every file, at once.

I was so mad you can't even believe. I trawled every support forum I knew, but everyone had the same issue with no resolution. I'm hoping Flash CS6 doesn't have this issue, but the bone tool had a lot of issues to begin with even before it was broken. Swapping out old symbols for new ones mid animation (so you can have the head "turn" while bending down for example) was something basic that wasn't provided.

I feel this pain.. At Nelvana, our main setup is all scene files are stored on the network, not locally. You check out a scene file when you go to work on it, and rely on the network to save when you actually click the save button. Yeah.. I've been screwed over so many times by the network NOT saving after spending an entire day clicking that save button over certain intervals throughout the day, that I've completely switched over. I now download all of my assigned scene files locally to my machine and work locally. In the past, I've lost 7 hours work MORE THAN ONCE to the damn network, because it's off having a smoke or something when I clicked save.
Never again. If you ask me. Working locally is totally the way to go.

Our network makes everything take hella slow, mostly because our project has so many revisions that it eats server space like wow. Someone distributed a chart to the employees that showed the server space used as a way of encouraging the rest of the building to delete unnecessary files. Our project equaled the size of everyone else put together two or three times over.
Thankfully I've never had the network fail me for saving, but I'm aware of employees who HAVE had that issue. I occasionally make backups to my external just to have up to date work I can take home whenever.

LOL. This is why I've been using other image editing products besides the ones made by Adobe. >.>

oh how I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE that. Why the hell Adobe won't institute a auto-save feature into their products like Autodesk does is beyond me.
