Sparkler is really just a fan-made name and nothing official. The same goes for most other background ponies.
In any case, though, I'm glad you made artwork of her. The main background ponies are so easy to overlook despite how often they appear, which is why I think they deserve more love.

А главное, что ведь не авторы придумывали имена (ну если только пару-тройку в сериале поименно в разговорах называли). ИМХО, создатели взяли на заметку (если второй сезон будет, а так для маркетинга сгодится).

На самом деле фанаты прости ищут похожих пони из предыдущих поколений и называют новых их именами. Хотя порой да, сами выдумывают.
