Actually we are in Volume 6 at the moment. Volume 7 might be coming at the later half of this year.
We shall see, it's going to be a painful yet awesome battle.

Okay, just making in terms of how far we are in the story for RWBY.
Hopefully by that point there at their strongest and prepared for Salem, even if Ozpin is reluctant to fight her still after the break-up they had long ago.

Alright, just making sure, seems volume 7 will appear around late spring to early summer as guess for release date.
Mmhm, considering Ruby and her friends are still considered first year in training huntsmen after the events of volume 3 despite being prodigies, so they'll still need constant training for Salem's eventually execution of her plan and the battles to come in later volumes.

Yep, most of their fights were mostly luck based due to the villains underestimated for most of the time, now with Salem in the picture, not going to be happening anymore considering they're now targets for her grimm and followers.

Yeah, considering CRWBY is trying their best with what Monty left behind after his untimely demise.
Mmhm, at least all of her followers are on par seasoned huntsmen in terms of skills and experience considering Qrow was trying to keep Tyrian away from Ruby, despite her attempt helping him eventually backfiring due to passive bad luck from him , and struggling with Hazel even with Ozpin helping him. Cinder we already know as Salem's secret weapon due to the Maiden powers she stolen by force from Amber, despite being AWOL at the moment due to petty revenge. Watts is the only one of her group not to be a combatant, but instead acts as the technical expert and possibly the inside man for sensitive information.

Of course, those things you mentioned are all correct. So far I think the next Atlas Arc might involve Tyrian and Watts both, plus Cinder as an outside force.

Mmhm, Watts and Tyrian will be the main threats for most of volume 7 with Cinder acting as hostile third faction against anyone who gets in the way for her revenge, ending with possibly Salem's proper introduction to team RWBY and JNR near the end of the voulme.

Pretty much, they're basically specks of dust in terms of age compare to Salem, who's been around for thousands of years and on top of that she's had time to perfect her magic and develop back-up plans if something goes awry.

Yes, seeing that the Faunus had full rights to be considered first-class civilians considering what they went through after the great war and yet, they were only given a barely inhabitable island as a "prize" to keep them away from the rest of humanity and still treated horribly in some cases due to lingering hate for them.
