Description
This painting was inspired by the need to fill an empty wall space. I could make up some lengthy, pompous back story, but that's really it. We needed a piece of decor. It's layers of oil and acrylic mixed, which may or may not end well (see journal entry, re: vampire). This is also a photograph of said painting, because the actual canvas size is 18" x 24". My scanner can't quite handle that and I'm not holding it up to the wall to try.

Lovely! I like the colors and the drips.
Me and my foofoo artsy terminology there. "Drips."

Thanks! Eh, the process doesn't deserve fancy terms. At least one effect was achieved by "flinging paint at the canvas really hard and hoping for the best".

That pretty much sounds like every time I sit down to make anything. "Here's hopin'" gets muttered a lot.
"What are you knitting? A hat?"
"::Wrapped in yarn and almost stabbing herself with needles.:: Here's hopin'!"
