A lonely tree in the setting sun.. A tree with no roots.

I made this last night. It took forever to paint the branches. Don't know what to say about the picture. It's a tree on an orange background, can't explain more. Don't know what to say. It's hard to speak your feelings, much easier to paint them. Took me about 1½ hour to do the orange and 3½ hour to do the tree.

I couldn't put words on this picture, but my dear friend Laertis could:

I'm sorry for the bad dissolution, but this is the best photo of 30. I don't have time to do another one right now.. maybe later.
It's painted with acrylics on a 30x30 cm, 4cm deep edge canvas.

My granddad (my fathers father) got cancer recently, we found out 38 days ago. He's been lying in his bed the last two weeks. When my mother saw this painting, she brought it to him. When he woke up for a while she showed it to him and he said: "Vem har målat den vackra tavlan?" (Who has painted that beautiful painting?) "Det är Christopher" (It was Christopher) answered my mother and before he fell asleep again he said "Är det Christopher? Han kommer att stå bland de stora konstnärerna en vacker dag." (Is it Christopher? He will stand amongst the great painters one day). My granddad died last night. Always watching this painting as it hung on his wall. The last hours he looked like a lonely tree with no leaves, only skin and bones, searching for solid ground. 20:47 he finally found his rest in good soil. So I'm dedicating this painting to him. Thanks for everything granpa, and thanks for always supporting my work. Please God let him rest in peace.
