I like the perspective and the slight motion blur fo the person walking down the stairs. It reinforces what is suggested in the title--descent and it may hold a lot of meanings some of them hidden.
It could be as simple as someone going down a flight of stairs, it could mean descent into a bad area of life or even a descent into hell either literally or figuratively.
What I really like about the shot (and all my strange interpretations of it is that the stairs go both ways and only one person is descending and no one is going up. I take some meaning from this. It's really kind of a lonely shot for me.
Well done!
