Anakin fans please don’t kill me! Sorry but this line has bothered me forever… and last night the idea for this was sprung. This is actually quite tame compared to the original idea which had a pretty horrible quip about Anakin and banthas. I decided to go with the toned down version.

Attack of the Clones is my least favorite Star Wars movie, and that scene... ugh. That was one of the most awkward movie scenes I have ever seen. I feel incredibly wierd after watching it everytime.
Don't get me wrong; I don't hate the movie. As a matter of fact, both my most favorite and least favorite Star Wars movies are both prequels; my most favorite being Revenge of the Sith (because it had the most action while simultaneously getting to the point of the prequels, and the action coincided with the story very well, not to mention it was the most emotional of the saga) My least favorite is Attack of the Clones because of it had a very slow and stagnant second act, and some of the dialogue was just horrible (I know that some of the dialogue in Sith was bad too, but not as bad as in Clones, though) I'm still a fan of the whole saga, and this is a nice observation of that scene.

Most of the romance in Attack of the Clones was pretty damn awkward. I think the only movies that come to mind that are even more awkward in the romance department are the Twilight films.
