Description
This character has gone through a few design changes since this drawing. For one she's not as tall or as busty.
With that said, I still really like this picture. I like the angle and the foreshortening. Plus I think she looks real cute.

Yeah, I still do a lot of that floating in white space, but I try to improve as well. As you say, it can be something very simple that fixes it, you don't need a full cloured background
