I've been trying to solidify my interpretation of sans' design, and this is what I'm tentatively settling on. If you have any suggestions or I missed something, please comment. I want to get him right, and his design is more finicky than it appears.Related content

It's perfect. The shape of his half-closed eye sockets plus his eyebrows or whatever it's called make him look like he has this tired smile, which suits Sans's character. Also, I think the line between his eyes makes him unique and looks good.

Finicky indeed. Had to work my ass off to make a proper image of him. Doing an animation for a now ended competition, 'cause I practically promised I'd show it to them. Thank you! There are so many different interpretations of Sans' design, and a lot of them use that "bean" smile. To me it's weird how so few of them actually feel like the in-game Sans; it's something with their head shape and facial features. Then again it's always weird translating stylistic pixel art into a character that can actually exist in space.
