Description
Over a year in the making my life sized Mevile is finally done. He's actually been done for quite some time I just hadn't managed to get proper pictures put together of him.
No mater how long I love him to death. I love seeing him waiting for me in the corner of my art room every time I go in there And he gets to share his craziness with the world once a year at Halloween.

There is a lot of stuff under the foolish looking pumpkin face.
Frame: Mevile's frame is made up of various things from a dollar store and a few thrift stores.
Movable Jaw: This is an unholy cobbling of wood, gooseneck and a lot of screws. If you are interested WIP pics are on my Tumblr.
"Skin": Polar fleece with just a little bit of spandex (the orange throat lines) thrown in for good measure.
Leaves: These have a foam core (those foam mats you sleep on for camping or use for yoga) and are also covered in even more polar fleece.
Vines: The vines are long strips of a pool noodle with a thick wire core covered in yet again... polar fleece.
Pot: The pot itself was purchased from a hardware store then filled with a whole bag of concrete set with hollow broom handles to allow me to slide the various bits into them.
