My Opinion
...Well, I guess I have a couple of gripes:
1. It would kind of muck with the the balance the Mane 6 have between the three primary pony classes.
2. said he would probably discontinue his ongoing comic if she did.

I do like the style, especially the gradient effect on Dashie's mane. It's got a paper cutout feel to it (which is something I've played with and as such am biased towards 
Oh and I'm choosing to interpret Twilight as a princess as a Zelda reference and no one can stop me!

Due to one or two rumours, one very detailed but highly dubious "leak" on reddit (and one image of Twilight with wings tucked away near the back of one of the official sticker books), there is currently speculation that in the season finale Twilight will either become an alicorn, or temporarily become an alicorn for reasons as yet unknown.

I must ask, when Season 3 ends, is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic would end for good?

Highly unlikely - various artists/executives etc have strongly hinted that season 4 will happen (I don't *think* it's been confirmed, but it's sitting on about 90% certain atm). They're pushing towards the season 3 finale because once the series reaches the finale, it will have reached the magic number of 65 episodes, which is the minimum required for the program to be syndicated. It's believed that the main reason Season 3 is half-length was so they could get it finished and broadcast a little faster so they could hit that target, after which they've got more breathing room and they can keep making new seasons without quite as much pressure.

I hope it at least run through 2014, there's going to be a big party for My Little Pony in 2014.
I'll get to the point. Next year starting January 31, 2014, will be the Chinese Year of the Horse. When that happens, it will be a celebration of the equines.
I wonder are there other bronies foresee this upcoming Chinese New Year and preparing for it.

That`s an interesting filter you`re using.
Also, I think you should use tiny bit more outlines. You add outlines on ponies` feet but not between Twilight`s head and foot. Maybe Twilight`s ear need little outline, too. And how come Twilight`s whole eyes are outlined, but Rainbow`s eyes only partly, as it "should" be?
But yeah, these are only little things that I`m wondering. Overall this is great job, no doubt!

Thanks for the feedback! I see what you mean about adding some more of the outlines--I'll definitely keep that in mind. Still flushing out the style here, I'm sure it'll become more refined in time. ^-^

The art style is really good, and it's a good take on the old joke. I would suggest, though, making the clouds whiter, because as they are, Rainbow Dash doesn't show up against them very well.

I was honest-to-goodness downright impressed when I saw this idea for the style. It's brilliant! I came up with a scruffy, grungy overlay for a poster, but it really works well with a comic! Especially when the outlines are removed - it gives the impression that the whole thing was made with paper cutouts.

If i didn't know any better id say Hasbro is "wrapping up" the show
- discord could be killed of as an antagonist in the next episode
- they're making twilight princess (unless of course they're the biggest trolls in the world)
- Rainbow dash is technically a wondertbolt
- etc
Whats next? are they going to give the CMC their cutie marks?
