Description New! Download for 1960x1470

Rather deep magnification in a 2D-slice of the four dimensional cubic parameter space using the standard parameterizing z -> z^3 - 3a^2 z + b, critical points z = +a and z = -a

*a_real = 0
*a_imag = 0.7465
*b_real = #pixel (horizontal)
*b_imag = #pixel (vertical)

Only M- plotted (the motive entirely inside M+).

The same type of peacock-like patterns can be found at the border of the ordinary mandelbrot set, but the secondary decorations do not have any enclosed regions except for mini copies of the M set. No filters or postprocessing except anti-aliasing (from 6400 x 4800) and a little sharpening.

Ultra Fractal, formula Cubic Parameterspace3 in the sp3-module written by my dear friend Greenseng here at DeviantART. All his modules, as well as mine can be downloaded from here.

Below the parameter file. Play and have fun

Not realy; it sounds more like math to me.

Fractal geometry is the math of the new science of chaos and complexity Below some recycled info about fractals:

First: Check out the zoom sequences (only images) from page 4 in the pdf's [link] and [link] . The end motives are my deviations [link] and [link]

Second: In my journal [link] you have some links to short cool fractal animations I stumbled over at YouTube

Third: If you wanna try some free simple fractal software, go to my journal [link] . You don't need to know the math behind

Fourth: Wikipedia has a nice site [link]

Fifth: Maybe you would appreciate my "Chaotic series of fractal articles" [link] if you have a little theoretical interest

Hope you don't feel spammed

Yeah, it's both interesting and beautiful (I'm very satisfied with the colors) However as a part of a fiction it may be used very carefully

"Mandel & Julia" typen av fraktaler är ofta inte så kantiga trots en oändlig detaljrikedom och en ständig ökande komplexitet med förstoringsgraden Fraktal orgasm fick jag akut behov av i ett sammanhang och tog fram det rekordsnabbt Bra med kunskaper om vad olika mönster finns (detta motiv är djupt in-zoomat (3.32*10^12 ggr) en bit ner i vänstra baken i i det här motivet. Färgskalan fick jag också snabbt ihop ..

thank you so much This is maybe the most obscene of my fractals to use in fiction Fractals reminds of nothing and, at the same time, everything That's one of the things that make fractals so fascinating BTW, have you heard about fractals before?

FractalMonster In reply to nowayXX [2012-08-06 00:19:16 +0000 UTC]

This is one of the fractals I grasped after in a special situation for about nine years ago. You can find that pattern in the ordinary Mandelbrot set also, but I wanted to have secondary decorations with enclosed regions, it's the black chains, so I had to use my "cubic troll" [link] living in a four dimensional hyperspace On fact I found that motive very fast. And yeah, I am also very satisfied with the color map I rather fast came up with
