Description
Day by day we chatter and giggle. Our spirts so close and so open we cannot resist a good laugh.
You go on about your friends, but what is going to happen to us?
Will we shrivel up in to desiccated and unimaginative skin?
We express amusement and gag, but I know
you know there could be a future.
The future with our calico children,
and I believe it could become.

For me it's very difficult to comment on poetry or prose be-
cause I feel the need to hear the tone and cadence of the
words as they form in your head and heart and finally land
on the paper. But what I CAN say about this work is I knew
immediately what you were talking about: the transition
period that occurs in all stages of life, and the questions it
brings about the future of things ( like relationships ). Well
done, Shelly
Laurie

Its missing something, for me that is.
Not quite emotional enough. Not real enough. It seems as though it was written by someone else for someone else...You know what I mean?
DOnt get me wrong, it was very well written, I just like to hear the mushy stuff i guess
