It looks dark in there, but I get this urge to go in there and explore for some reason. I really like the old decaying paper as the ground, it ads like a treasure map, or National Treasure feel to it ^_^
The lights coming from the left hand corner have shadow cast upon them, I thought light pierces through any shade. They also feel a little too sharp, like they could poke you, ouch =O

Thank you.......
Yeah the lighting is more suggestive than anything really, just a quick brush stroke....

I gotta ask you, what program do you use? I love exploring new mediums and I want to learn how to oil paint digitally, but I haven't really looked into it.

For a more painterly effect I use Painter X. I always use Photoshop 7 to arrange my scanned in markings and for pain-overs....

Awesome that reminds me of this board game I had where you had to go through a forest and it would be a picture of a forest instead of just saying forest.
looks really cool.

Thanks!
As for the parchment paper below, not really sure guess I'm trying to reinforce that exploration/adventure into the unknown vibe..........
May do another one with a treasure map incorporated......

Sounds like a plan, man.
Have you ever considered doing a story with these.
Nothing too elaborate, just a quick kind of short comic of epic pictures that could depict the art of exploring something.
Although, I may be suggesting more than is possible. I apologize if that is the case. D:

My only thoughts looking at this are...
"Who brought the flashlight?"
Heh. It's very nice. I love the way you get a mysterious, you don't know what the hell is in there kind of vibe.
Though, I'm curious about the piece of paper with writing on it.
Keeping me guessing like that, you meanie. T.T.

Thanks dude, used PS to overlay the ink texture, Painter has some really cool brushes for effects....
Like that green moss on the trees, just a couple of strokes with one of the watercolour diffuse brushes and within seconds it splodges the marks with all those spots!
really having fun with Painter at the moment

Hiya!
Sure, no problem below is a link to my PC specs and pic:

Might want to consider a 64Bit OS to get the most benefit of RAM usage, a 32bit operating system has a complete maximum or 4GB of RAM, the system cannot see past this max...........
Let me now what you decide to get

Thanks a lot, I think its due to the thin lines in my work, on a smaller scale the lines just bunch up and mangle into one lump............
