hi, this one started as a shader test, but after i made thoes shiny glass pieces just got an idea.Small robot arms grabs diamonds in a zero gravity space. umh, dont really know why.
made with 3ds max, finalrender, finaldof and composited in photoshop

Wow, you certainly have a talent. The mechanized pincers are amazing and it's a new idea. That's what I like most about it.
The only thing is.. there are 2 arms which appear to be coming from no where.. maybe if you made the cables longer and made it fade off into the blackness and little better it would look more realistic.

wow this is one of the most stunning rendering i have seen in 3DS, i really like the robot's texture and how you actually made a little mechanism with gears and all for the opening of the hand. the diamonds look very nice too and the blur adds a very nice effect.
