I am officially done with them and I couldn't be happier with the result...
I do notice that the front shoe's coloring looks distorted because of the light source so please excuse that. :/
I also decided to scrap the helmet-on-the-tongue idea because I didn't want to take the chance of them possibly messing up. All is left to do is heat-set them and then they're ready to wear.
Apple Barrel paints mixed with Golden Mediums GAC-900 fabric painting medium.
total working time: a little under 20 hours.

As for the dirtiness, I don't think I'll ever have to worry b/c I'm careful with that..

Yeah, really. Umm, I do plan on selling, it's just that there's hardly any takers, so I just make them whenever there's an order that wants to be filled, which is rare.

Something realistic like this, it ranges from $200-250 but something more simple or cartoon-y will be cheaper, maybe around $125 or something.

I know, the price is what gets people. Usually what I do is have them explain what they want and shoe size and then they pay, and the money goes towards me buying the shoes, the paint job, and then shipping them off but I know people are "iffy" about that, which I understand they feel they're taking a risk with that kind of money but I'm not an asshole lol. I usually try to find something that's comfortable for them but almost about 80% of purchases never go through. D:

I've never looked up any tutorials, I pretty much taught myself how to paint on shoes, so I wouldn't know where to look for any.
