Description
This one took a little while with close to twenty stock images and airbrushing effects. Andalites are part of the series of books called Animorphs for those who don't know. It's a great series that truly deserves a reimagining for tv or movie screens, but anyway here's my andalite.Related content

Yes, it deserves a re imagining, and I propose the perfect place for that reimagining would be Manga and Toonami/Adult Swim anime. It's not for little kids, and with a few tweaks could be a very serious anime.

yeah the tv show didn';t have NEAR enough funding for a decent cg andalite effect.... it shows too cuz they almost never show Ax at all..... they knew the effect was too cheesy.

Thanks, my favorite book series growing up. I own every single one they ever made. Upwards of 60 all together. Though looking back at this picture, I realize just how far I've come with digital art.

One of my favorites was the Ellimist Chronicles, though to be fair they were all wonderful in their own way.

It does indeed deserve a TV show with better effects and a storyline following the books, indeed. The one they had was awful. Anyway, the first time I saw your Andalite, I thought, That must be Visser Three. X3. That's what he looks like to me, aside from imagining Alloran with golden eyes for some reason. If possible, I'd be curious what stock images you used for him. I like the glow of sunlight in the background.
Though, IMO the upper body's a bit too big, and the tail is...odd. But that's just what it seems to me.

I thought the show was alright, but of course the books were ten times better. A new show might be possible, with a relaunch of the books coming out next year, maybe today's kids can get into it, making it relevant again.
I just wanted to try something a little difficult, but not too hard so I just went for it looking like an Andalite. I wasn't really aiming for Visser 3, Ax, or Elfangor, but it does look mostly like Visser 3. I used some random model for the body, a horse "obviously", a dinosaur tail, a modified sythe, cat eyes, and a few minor images to clean it up some.
I actually thought the body was too small, based on the cover of Visser...
