"One for J.J.!" says Spidey from CAPCOM's Marvel Super Heroes... man, that game is so great. I love how they created his fighting style and his animations.This was also a random doodle now colored. I think he is thinking or striking a pose... or both.
This is my first time ever cg coloring spiderman! 0_0... even though, it is a fast rough one.

awesome style, though the back is incorrect. His back is actually mostly blue, with a red spider on it.
Still, it's got a great spidey feel to it. Nice one!

Spidey's actually a pretty tough superhero to draw, as his outfit hasn't changed much at all over the years. You'd think it would make things easier, but since other superheroes have had changes to their outfits, I think that means the artist can get away with more if they make any changes.
The only changes I can think of for spidey are the shape of his eyes, and the style of the spider on his chest and back. Both of these vary depending on the artist's preferences really.
Oh, there's also the Black Symbiote costume...but that's totally different

This is really cool - I like the different tones. I'm also currently working on a Spider-man sketch, though it is only in the pencil stages at the moment.

Thank you! For this picture, my inspiration was definitely the way manga artists handle coloring, and how Capcom portrayed Marvel's heroes.
