Description
Important: This is an old file and that's why the colors don't really match anymore. I might update the graphics soon, but no promises!A few days ago i wanted to make a journal skin with animated snow... just in case as an alternative for the CSS calendar, but then i decided that i wanted to make an User Style with it.
Made the animation with flash... it looked totally awesome! But when i started to export it as a gif the problems began - mainly because you can't export scripts lol
Well i have the animated gif now, but it sucks. Because i had to record it and use that, so the color freaked out a little
User Styles don't allow gifs, so i can't show you an animated preview. The bottom snow is animated.

I was wondering: as this is a userstyle I install on my computer, it's only visible for me, not for other users, isn't it? Unless they have the same userstyle installed too?

Yeah, Userstyles only affect websites for the person who has it installed. Everyone else still sees the regular version.

Just added a style that works together with this to the description. Adds a bit more snow to the profiles. Maybe that is something for you as well!

Yeah, i changed the style a bit. That way people don't need to edit the code and it's on every profile

Yeah, the CSS changes the appearance only for yourself, so it's not affected by any dA stuff (except the original code). Only you can see it though.

There's a chance *I* broke it somehow, while installing some other things, but I dunno.

You need to add your name to the dA url.
So instead of @-moz-document domain("deviantart.com") { Β it should be Β @-moz-document domain("jenetikitty.deviantart.com") {
If you change that, then it should work again

This was a little more complicated then I initially thought, but your tip here gave me the clues to solve this on my own! Β
The problem was exactly what you mentioned, HOWEVER! Β I use Chrome, not firefox. Β
I actually didn't even need the jenetikitty in the url, as removing it didn't cause any problems and instead just put more snow on other DA pages like it should
So I guess the issue was the lack of the ~namespace line... Β or... something. Β I dunno.
The important thing is that you definitely pointed me in the right direction AND I learned a bit about userscripts today! Β Yay!
